SATURDAY, JUNE 28
6 PM SOLEMN MASS ~
presided by the Very Rev. Jeffrey Cabral, JCL, Pastor of Santo Christo Parish,
preached by the Rev. Jeremy J. Rodrigues, STL,
Pastor of Saint Margaret Parish in Rumford, RI, and priest of the Diocese of Providence;
assisted by the Rev. Deacon David Gaspar, and concelebrated by other priests.
GRAND PROCESSION OF PROMISES after Mass,
with the following route: Canal / Ferry / Mulberry / William / Grant,
back to Church for some closing prayers.
8:30 to 11:00 PM: FEAST ACTIVITIES with lively music by ERATOXICA.
SUNDAY, JUNE 29
8 AM MASS (Portuguese) - cancelled
9:30 AM MASS (English) and 11 AM MASS (Portuguese)
4 PM SOLEMN PROCESSION with the following (shortened) route (approved by the City Police):
Columbia / Hunter / William / Eagle / Columbia to the Church -
with the participation of clergy, ministries of the Parish, business leaders,
cultural, civic & sporting organizations - with SOLEMN BENEDICTION
OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT in the Church, following the Procession
6:30 to 10 PM: FEAST ACTIVITIES with music by David DeMelo & His Band.
During the Feast, there will be music, Portuguese & American foods,
beer and soda, a bazar booth, Youth Games & Bazar, and our famous malassadas.
We will also be hosting the Summer Craft Fair on the Feast Grounds.
