2024 Annual Catholic Appeal  •  Apelo Anual Católico 

The theme for the 2024 Catholic Appeal, the 83rd in the Diocese of Fall River, is “Renew the Face of the Earth.” Since 1942, the Catholic Appeal has helped people in all phases of life – from children, to youth, to parents, to the elderly. Your support sustains the numerous agencies, programs, and ministries of the Diocese of Fall River providing food and shelter, educating children and adults, and meeting the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of thousands. We encourage you to support the Appeal as generously as you can.  You can make a one-time gift or a pledge with convenient payments throughout the year. You can give by mail, use a contribution card located in church, or make your gift or pledge online at: www.GiveFRDiocese.org.  The campaign runs from Wednesday, May 1 - Sunday, June 30, 2024.  Holy Spirit, renew our joy. Holy Spirit, renew our faith. Help us renew the face of the earth!

Once again, the Diocese has an incentive program, providing a monetary award for parishes who meet a specific fundraising goal, including our own - to raise 5% more than the average of the last three years.  The average of the contributions from Santo Christo Parish from 2021-2023 was $31,373.33.  With the goal of a 5% increase, our parish goal for 2024 is $32,942.00.  If we surpass our parish goal, Santo Christo Parish will receive 50¢ on every dollar raised over that amount.  Any money raised would go to our Church Renovation Fund.  Last year, in 2023, we raised $31,750.00.
